About Max & Milo
Two dogs, one story, and a brand inspired by both.
During a really difficult time in my life—when I felt like I was at the end of my rope—I found Max at a shelter.
It wasn’t love at first sight. Max was anxious, shut down, and clearly had been through a lot. I didn’t take him home right away. Adopting a dog is a big responsibility for anyone—especially for my 19-year-old self—and Max needed extra care. But something about him stayed with me. I went back the next day, because somehow, it felt like we needed each other.
Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Max has been by my side through every high and low of my adult life. He’s still a bit of a nervous guy, and recently I started to feel like maybe he could use a friend.
That’s when Milo joined the family.
Milo is the wild-hearted little brother Max didn’t ask for—but just might end up loving.
Together, they’ve inspired everything behind this brand—from our products to our purpose. Their quirks, their bond, and their stories remind me daily that life with dogs isn’t always picture-perfect, but it’s always something special.
